Station XIII - Mary Holds The Body Of Jesus

The Stations of the Cross - The Passion of The Christ in Art was commissioned by the late Phil Cato in 1998.  Mr. Cato wished  to honor his family with the continued exhibit of the stations at the landmark St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Hope, Arkansas.  The artwork was permanently placed in 2011. Before the commission was placed at Saint Marks it debuted in Hot Springs, Arkansas in 2008 and then toured to Manhattan College in Riverdale, New York; Saint Mary the Virgin in Times Square, NYC;  Subiaco Abby in Subiaco, Arkansas and Christ Church in Little Rock, Arkansas.
